The acquisition of MJK marks a strategic expansion of the Xylem monitoring and control (M&C) portfolio, and broadens the Water Solutions offer specifically for M&C within pump lift stations. This addition to our analytics portfolio is an important component of our strategy to acquire attractive businesses that complement our existing product and services offerings. More specifically, it enables us to expand Xylem’s wastewater and surface water applications, bringing together our transport and test capabilities. We are well positioned with the acquisition of MJK to drive increased innovation and value.
MJK is a leading manufacturer of flow and level sensors, and measurement and control technology for water and wastewater applications. MJK has operations in Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, the United States and Singapore. For more than 35 years, MJK has supplied equipment for water & wastewater applications, including pump stations and treatment plants.
The combination of Flygt and MJK control technologies gives Xylem an expanded range of M&C products that will allow us to meet varied customer needs in all of our served markets. |
