An optional internal cooling system means that the pump can continue pumping down to the minimum slurry level. This also helps to prevent sediment build-up in the sump.
The coolant is a water-monopropylene glycol, non-poisonous mixture. A propeller integrated in the Plug-in™ seal pumps the coolant around the system. The main heat exchange takes place in the seal housing cover.
