MAS Relay Module





MRM 01 Relay Module:

MRM 01 (MAS Relay Module-01) is an optional part of the MAS 711 Monitoring system. One or more relay modules (maximum number of 8 modules) can be connected to the MAS 711 Base unit through RS-485 Modbus, providing a total number of 32 distinct alarm indications for external monitoring. This will enable MAS to communicate individual alarms on the separate monitoring channels (A and/or B alarms) to relays and LEDs on the relay module(s).

The pump sensors will be connected to the MAS Base unit which will monitor the pump and detect unhealthy conditions. The individual alarms will be transmitted to LEDs and relays on the MRM 01 via the RS-485 Modbus connection.
The configuration of the MRM 01 is done through the MAS Web tool interface. Therefore, a laptop computer and crossover Ethernet cable are required for setup.

CAS Replacement Kit:

As a replacement for the CAS Relay, a kit consisting of the MAS 711 Base unit and MRM 01 Relay Module is available. This kit will provide the protection features and separate relay outputs supplied by the retired CAS unit.

The MAS Base unit and MRM 01 are delivered with a factory default setting to facilitate CAS replacement with a minimum of settings. As no operator interface is included, it will require use of a laptop computer connected to the Base unit and use of the Web browser function to make any setting changes to the kit.
