Product sales code

ITT Flygt submersible pumps are designated by two letters followed by four digits, e.g. CP 3127.

The first letter describes the hydraulic section of the pump: the impeller and the volute. Since the impeller determines the field of application for which the pump can be used, this letter also designates the pump type to which the motor is fitted: type B-pump, type C-pump, type D-pump, etc.

The second letter indicates the installation method for the pump: free-standing, stationary, stationary wet, transportable, etc.

The digits represent the model and specify size and capacity in comparison with other pumps of the same type: CP 3300 is consequently larger than CP 3127.

Hydraulic section
(first letter) -- pump impeller and volute

	B: Shrouded single or multi-channel impellers with large throughlets and single volute pump casing for liquids containing solids and fibers. Impeller type and capacity range

	C: Shrouded single or multi-channel impellers with large throughlets and single volute pump casing for liquids containing solids and fibers. Impeller type and capacity range

	D: Vortex type impeller and single volute pump casing with large throughlets for sludge containing solids and fibers. Impeller type and capacity range

	F: Open screw type cutting impellers and single volute casing for liquids containing fibers. Impeller type and capacity range

	H: Open or semi-shrouded single or multi-channel hardened steel impellers in a single volute casing with abrasion-resistant diffusor parts. Impeller type and capacity range: with replaceable liners with hardened steel impeller

	L: Shrouded-channel impeller with guide vanes for low heads and intermediate capacities. Impeller type and capacity range

	M: Semi-open multi-channel impellers with integral grinder cutter in a single volute casing for liquids containing solids and fibers. Impeller type and capacity range

	N: Semi-open self-cleaning impeller with high efficiency and for multipurpose use. Impeller type and capacity range

	P: Axial flow propellers with fixed or adjustable pitch blades for high capacity low head pumping of clean or slightly contaminated liquids. Impeller type and capacity range: for water for water and sludge

	S: Propeller, medium to large throughlet, for clean to heavily contaminated liquids. Impeller type and capacity range

	R: Semi permanent, Wet Guide bar installation for mixers to install in all type of tanks/basins
	S: Semi permanent, Wet Portable version with hose coupling or flange for connection to discharge pipeline.
	T: Permanent, Dry Dry well/dry pit installation with flange connection to suction and discharge piping; vertical mounting
	Z: Permanent, Dry Dry well/dry pit installation with flange connection to suction and discharge piping; horizontal mounting
