Hydraulic section D

|
D-pumps feature a vortex impeller. Pumping results from the impeller inducing a rapidly rotating vortex producing a consequent pressure rise in the liquid. Most of the particles in the liquid thus never come into contact with the impeller, and wear is thereby minimized. The D-pump is mainly used for waste water and sludge containing small or large solid particles. |
